In keeping with its commitment to CSR, the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture invites qualified applicants to apply for the 2024 Tertiary NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship Scheme. The application period is from May 27, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
Categories of Awards:
Applicants from NAOC Host/Transit Communities can apply for the Host/Transit Communities Merit Award.
National Merit Award: Non-Host/Transit locales are welcome to apply.
The Requirements for 2024 of NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Have full-time undergraduate registration in Nigerian universities.
- Be 100-level students at the time of application (this is only relevant to students admitted in the academic session 2023/2024).
Dependents of specific organisations, as well as current holders of comparable awards from other firms and authorities, are among the students who are ineligible to apply. Furthermore, the Host Communities Merit Award is only eligible to residents of the NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo. Not only that, the National Merit Award is only available to students studying in the following fields of study:
- Engineering
- Geology
- Geosciences
- Agricultural science.

Documents Required for NNPC, NAOC, and OANDO Scholarships:
As you continue with the application process, the following documents are required:
- A recent, white-background passport photo that is no older than three months, with dimensions of 450 pixels by 450 pixels and a file size of no more than 200 KB.
- ID card for school.
- The O-level certificate.
- Letter of Admission.
- Birth Certificate.
- Verification of the origin’s local government area.
- Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (available exclusively to applicants for the Host Communities Merit Award).
- A letter from the chairman of the CDC (only relevant to applicants for the Host Communities Merit Award).
- JAMB results.

- To begin the application process, select the “Apply Now” tab in the top right corner.
- To create an account, click “Register Now” and follow the directions.
- Fill out the application form with personal, educational, and other relevant information.
- Upload the required documents, making sure they match the names on your application.
- When requested, upload a recent passport photo with a white background.
- To submit your application, click “Apply Now”.
- After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS.
- Log in to the scholarship portal using your email and password to download your profile.
- Have your Head of Department sign the document and upload a scanned copy for verification.
