Nigerian students who fulfil the requirements are encouraged to apply for the Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship 2024. Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, in collaboration with SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited, is committed to promoting economic growth in host communities and Delta State as a whole by investing in human resources, as well as operating the Umusadege Field on OML 56.

Types of Awards
The scholarship provides awards in two different categories.
- University Community Award: Specifically for students from the host community.
- Merit Award for University available only for residents of Delta State.

To be eligible for the Midwestern Oil and Gas University Scholarship, candidates must meet the conditions outlined for their award classification.
University-specific award for host communities:
- Applicants can either be in the 100 or 200 level.
- At least 5 credits in SSCE or GCE, including Mathematics and English, must be completed concurrently.
- JAMB/UTME results and university admission letter from a recognised Nigerian university.
- Show University ID card.
- A letter of identity signed by the Ward Councillor or CACC (Community Accredited Contactors Committee).

This Requirements is strictly for Delta indigenes only
- Applicants must have a 200-level standing and a CGPA of at least 3.5.
- At least 5 credits in SSCE or GCE, including Mathematics and English, must be achieved in one sitting.
- Provide JAMB/UTME results and university admission documents from a recognised Nigerian university.
- Show university ID card.
- First-year students must have a CGPA of 3.5 or better.
- The LGA issued an identification letter.
Key Points to note
There is no cost to apply for the Midwestern JV scholarship, which must be completed entirely via the SCHOLASTICA official website.
- Be aware of counterfeit websites; Midwestern JV does not need payment throughout the application process.
- Applications cannot be sent by email, and no representatives are accessible to assist with the process.
- Falsifying documents will lead to disqualification from the scholarship selection process.
- Only selected candidates will be invited to take the computer-based test.
