About the DSSC
The Direct Short Service Commission is a 6-month intensive military training program open to civilians and serving military personnel. Upon completion, successful candidates are commissioned into the rank of Flying Officer [1).

Qualifications Nigeria Air Force DSSC 33 Recruitment 2023/2024
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for first-degree holders or Upper Credit for HND holders
- Have credits in Mathematics, English, and three other subjects related to their course of study
- Be computer literate
- Possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption
- Be fully registered with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria
- Be Nigerian
- Meet the height requirements (1.66m for males, 1.63m for females)
- Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit
- Be cleared of any previous convictions
- Be between 20 and 30 years old (25-40 years for Medical Consultants)

Required Documents for Nigeria Air Force DSSC 33 Recruitment 2023/2024
After completing online registration, applicants must print out the following documents:
- Local Government Area Attestation Form
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form
- Attestation of Good Character Form
- Acknowledgment Form
Applicants who are meet up the specified requirements are to print out the following documents after the completion of Online registration:
- Local Government Area Attestation Form to be signed by Military/Police Officer from the same state as the applicants, not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Assistant Commissioner of Police and above, Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate and Principal of Secondary School attended by applicants.
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
- Attestation of Good Character Form.
- Acknowledgment Form.
