The Role of the Catering QAQC Assistant Intern:
The following roles are what is expected of the intern during their internship programme.
- Ensure there are no safety-related issues in catering operations.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) standards, food sanitation, hygiene, safety regulations, and other contractual agreements.
- Maintain records for equipment, supplies, menus, etc.
- Conduct quality checks on food (dry, frozen, fresh vegetables), water, and other supplies.
- Assist with customer feedback and trend analysis.
Qualifications for the position applied
Bachelor of Science degree (minimum of Second Class Upper) in Agriculture, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences, Hotel Management, or Food Science/Technology.
