IBEDC is looking for a skilled Distribution Transformer (DT) Manager to handle operations, maintenance, and administration of transformers in the Jebba district. The DT Manager will guarantee that transformers operate efficiently, increase power dependability, and reduce downtime.
Key responsibilities:
- Operations Management involves overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of distribution transformers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during operations.
- Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Manage all emergency repair and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor transformer performance and take corrective action as necessary.
- Provide technical support to field teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on transformer status and repair actions.
- Communicate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of necessary equipment and parts.
- Team management involves leading and training a team of technicians and engineers.
