About the DAAD PRIME Fellowship Programme.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is currently accepting applications for the 2024 PRIME Fellowship Programme. Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the DAAD PRIME Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Qualifications: Candidates with above-average qualifications from any faculty are eligible.
  • Nationality: Applicants with any nationality may apply.
  • Career Intentions: Applicants who live abroad must plan to continue their research careers in Germany after the return phase.
  • Employment Status: For the planned research project, applicants must not be under a permanent contract with the host institution.
  • PhD Completion: Applications are accepted up to six years after completing your PhD, as long as it was done with distinction.
