The DAAD Research Scholarship supports international students aiming for a PhD in Germany, offering full financial backing and an enriching research environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Have completed their most recent degree within the last six years.
2. Have begun their doctorate no more than three years prior.
3. Not have resided in Germany for over 15 months before applying.
4. Hold a second class upper division Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree.
5. Demonstrate good German language skills for certain subjects.
6. Possibly complete a 4-6 month language course included in the scholarship.
