Eligibility criteria for the 2024 NNPC/Shell Petroleum Scholarship
To be eligible for the 2024 NNPC/Shell Petroleum Scholarship, applicants must complete the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Enroll in a recognised Nigerian university as a full-time undergraduate student.
- Be in the 200 Level or have proof of admission for the 2022/2023 academic year.
- Not receiving any additional scholarships from the oil and gas business, both nationally and abroad.

- Support throughout the academic programme, provided the required standards are met.
- Reward: Recipients would receive N200,000 annually to cover educational expenses.

- A recent passport photograph with a white background (450px by 450px).
- School ID card.
- University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) admission letter.
- JAMB result.
- Letter of Identification from the state, indicating your local government of origin.
For Operational Area Awards, additional letters of identification are required from:
- The Paramount Ruler of the Community.
- The Chairman of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or CEC).
- These letters should be addressed to: The Manager, Social Performance, The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (Shell), Shell Industrial Area, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
